Khlong Saen Saep boat ride.....

Well how much fun can you have for 10 baht about 35 cents aud, take a ride on one of these babies, they go so fast and there are so many amazing things to see along the way....
Ethan is still not well so another quiet day for him, Dan and I hit the river for our "cruise" they pull up at the wharf and you have to jump on, no ramp or steps or anything like that just some tyres that are attached to the side of the boat and if you get on at the back the gap is huge....there are some really nice people in this world that helped me get on and off......one lady came back and got me and then asked us where we were going and gave us directions, we didn't need them as we could see the hotel from the wharf.....she was so lovely......
We took it to the end and then they made us get off and get back on again not sure why when we could have just stayed on but never mind I climbed off only to try and get back on while the boat was trying to leave the wharf.....deadlines I think.....I am still rocking, remember our 3 day cruise and I rocked for a week after it.....There are these plastic tarps that pull up the side to stop the splash of the bow wave and splash it does, if you fell into the water you would be a goner it is so filthy..there was a lady with a plastic basket fishing off her back door into the river I am certain that anything that survived this river would be awful to eat....
Greg and Dan have gone off to take a train ride this afternoon and I think they are going to go on the boat as well......It is so hot and humid today I would hate to be here in summer, it would be unbearable......
All the different drinks at the buffet breakfast...

Pastries at breakfast

Dan did this to Greg's breakfast this morning and we were all laughing even the table next to us....

A relaxing day....

We have had another quiet day today as Ethan is still not 100%.....Greg & Dan went to the computer mall and came back with a new mouse as we think we left the other one in Chiang Mai.....
Greg and I just popped out to go to the fashion mall and the markets and the boys stayed here, Greg is off out again to a shopping centre a few blocks away......
We just crossed the road like locals, there are pedestrian crossings everywhere but unless you are game enough to walk out in front of the cars then you will wait all day to cross as there are no breaks in the traffic and they won't stop to let you cross....so we took the gamble and walked out and just like magic they all stopped...it's really weird how they all push their way into non existent lanes but they don't seem to crash....they are also really patient  and just let people merge.......
Dan said we had a bit of blue sky this afternoon but I missed it, I think that he had blue glasses on as it's not possible.......
We went to the chemist to pick up some ibuprofen, oh my you can buy anything and you don't need a script, anything from antibiotics to anti-depressants, everything really the only thing you can't get is codeine you can only get that in hospital....
I also read that the dogs in Chiang Mai and Bangkok are dingo's and that they are half Indian wolf  & half dog they are called "Mah Pah" in Thai and that translates to Jungle dog don't know if that is right but they really look like our dingo's....there are a lot of them with jackets and collars on but they just seem to wander all over the place....when we were at the markets there was a rescue group with some puppies in a cage we gave some money to them as they must have a massive task with the amount of dogs roaming around.....
Elephant art in the foyer....

Roof top garden, there was a guy out hosing this afternoon....

A giant TV screen on the shopping centre...

The other side of the hotel....

Boys playing some sort of ball game on the roof of the building....
