Queenstown....Day 6.....

We woke up to this beautiful view, a bit early but this more than makes up for it....Don't you think...

This place was really good, it's called Puzzling World & it had all these really cool illusions. That's Ethan 165cm's looking huge & all 184cm's of Dan looking small...

And here we are me at 164cm's looking huge

And the reverse......

This guy was so life like we thought that he was real.....

Totally Cool water feature.....

Amazing artwork that looks like they are sitting there, there was a sign to say that the toilets were not to be used....ummm ok....

The snow on the top of the mountain at Wanaka....

Looking down the valley into Queenstown.....The main road in has a one lane bridge.....And we whinge about our roads....Most of the bridges down here are one lane....

Yep, you see it, 11 degrees at 11.42am....in Summer, the strange thing is most of the locals have shorts & singlets on....Not us of course....

Such a cute town Arrowtown, cute shops & the buildings were just beautiful...It's a Gold town & it just looks like something from the wild west....Most of the souvenirs are made in New Zealand & so are a lot of the clothes...

The view from our balcony we are staying at The Hilton for 5 days.....It's stunning...

Lake Hawea...Day 5...

On the way to Lake Hawea, the little black dots on the sand are seals...

Lot's of little waterfall's because of the extreme amount of rain...

There were so many of them....that was a positive of all the rain...

This was the most amazing waterfall I have ever seen...

More snow capped mountains...

Finally at Lake Hawea & look what we had blue sky & no rain...

View from our front balcony....

Anyone for a swim? We stuck our feet in & it was cold.....

Someone's not happy....but after a Virgin Margarita & some food he was much happier....

Wanaka, lots of shops & resturants & bars....

Wanaka

Lake Hawea

We have had a great day today, couldn't do the helicopter flight because of the bad weather...it poured for a couple of hours after we left but then stopped we travelled 246klms to get to Lake Hawea & we now have blue skies with sun...It's still cool but much better than it was....Greg saw a Hedgehog  today but by the time  we turned around it had gone....Off to Queenstown tomorrow for 5 days.....
