Beach day...

We have had a hot one today, I walked first thing in the morning and then had breakfast out on the deck......headed off to the beach after a early lunch, the boys wanted to go to the rock pool beach that they went to last night...freezing, I tell you....water coming straight from Antarctica...I got in but only up to  my thighs and then decided that it was a tad too cold for my liking....Dan wanted the Go-Pro so I volunteered to drive home and pick it up...he ended up swimming around with it to chase some little fish in the water...we then headed over to Island Beach, that was the beach that we went to yesterday....didn't stay that long as it had got really windy...popped into the Sunset Winery on our way home, only brought some chocolate almonds, we will check the other winery's out before we go.....so a pretty slow day for us.....
Went for my morning walk and saw a guy watering the garden in the main street, this was the sign that was in the garden.

One side of the Island is very rocky just like this in some places...

My morning view on my walk...

Pennington Bay

Too rough for me (doesn't look that rough in this photo but it really truly was) but the kids loved the rock pools here.

We had Vietnamese on the beach, this little caravan had 2 ladies in there cooking up a storm...they were there all day today and back again tomorrow....

Ethan had caramelised pork with rice

Chicken salad for me...

The cross tree at the cemetery.

There are two cross tree's one on each side of the gate...

Mary Seymour's Grave, she was the first recorded birth on the Island, her Mum was a Tasmanian Aborigine and her Dad was a retired Whaler. I am sure that I read that the Aboriginal woman were taken to be used as seal poachers...will take a photo of the plaque when I take my morning constitutional.
Grandpa look what I picked up at the local IGA....Sweet!!!
This one is for Grandpa, the lighthouse  at Cape Willoughby..

The view from the front of the house....well I did forget and walked a little way before I remembered that I needed to show you this view...
