Cooking school, Temple visit, massages and a bit more.........

Another huge day in Chiang Mai, Ethan & I were to be picked up before 8.50 for a 9.00 am start at the cooking school but the bus didn't turn up......a quick call to the school to find out that they had no booking for us.....they arrived 10 minutes later and off we went....the place we had booked it through had forgotten to book it.....
There were 4 others in the class, 2 from the USA and 2 from Malaysia, we were only going to do the half day course but decided to make it a full day....that meant we could do the whole menu.....
We made a starter, soup, stir fry, curry and dessert, it was fabulous you could pick what you wanted to make within those categories... we also did a market tour to see all the produce......
The curry paste was hard work it took around 20 minutes to smash the daylights out of it, but it was worth it when we used it.....
Greg and Dan went off to a Temple in the old part of the city and then did a bit of shopping for a new bag as we will not fit everything we have brought in the bags we have......Attention Grandpa bring a truck to the airport please...
When we all got back to the hotel it was off to get massages, there are places everywhere and they are so  good and cheap at around $6 AUD for and hour well how could you not......
The Sunday night market here  is the biggest in Asia and they are not kidding, we didn't do all of it because it was just too much and also so much .........there is so much fabulous stuff  a lot of it is handmade and unique, we were there for around 4 hours struggling through the crowds........we caught a Tuk Tuk there and back once I thought we were a goner but they seem to go really fast and go all over the road and other drivers just let them in.......the Tuk Tuk was fun though I think the drivers all think they are F1 trained........... so it's no surprise that we are now back at the massage place for a foot massage........and I have the same girl massaging me that I had this afternoon.....
