Disneyland Part 1

We did it over 10 solid hours at Disneyland, I  knew we could do it........
Fabulous, fantastic and the best day that you can have....we couldn't believe it when we got there and there was no waiting on Space Mountain....the boys wanted to go there first so we did a couple of quick rides and then the boys went off to find the new roller coaster and Greg and I did the jungle ride &The Lion King show.....the boys were waiting for us as soon as we got out of there to go over to the Grizzly Gulch roller coaster.....the words were Mum it's really slow you will like it.....well why would they lie to me.......well lie they did as that roller coaster goes up the hill then drops backwards...It's a wonder you didn't hear me swearing at them from Australia.....I did do it again ( for Trisha's birthday cause she loves them)  and it wasn't anywhere near as bad the second time....
The Disneyland train.

And we are in...

That's it Ethan you can do it.

Main Street

Bamboo scaffolding on the Tarzan tree house.

This is a new it's called Mystery Manor. The ride was really well done.

Toy Story is new as well.

Hot Wheels track, I didn't do it but the boys did it so many times.

The new roller coaster.

The river cruise.

Woody from Toy Story

Lunchtime, the food was good but expensive, considering where you are you expect to pay high prices for it.

These two did the roller coaster with us and they were a scream, Dan has a video and the man has a smile on his face the whole time..

Going into Space Mountain. Dan has the music to it in his car....it's all about the music...

Main Street again.

For the Frozen fans....

Happy 60th Trisha..

Well it's a big Happy 60th Trisha for today, I know thing's aren't that good at the moment but we send our love to you on your Birthday....xxxx

We went off to the ladies market last night and Greg & Dan went to the computer market we did meet up again and Dan & I walked home, Ethan & Greg stayed down their to shop at the sports stores...Greg is having no luck in the clothes department where I have nailed all of my purchases...I am loving them all and now have some new threads to wear....we are off to Disneyland this morning after breakfast can not wait to get on Space Mountain, they have a new roller coaster, I usually do them but the boys can tell me what it's like.....but I do Space Mountain...
Was thinking this morning what am I missing from home, well the list goes, Family & friends of course, Abby (my little poodle), vegemite toast for breakfast on bread that's not sweet, spin & running and my buddies that I do it with, fresh air and blue sky and normal food.....
Greg and Dan had good coffee here yesterday for breakfast & when Greg was out yesterday he said he had a good one while shopping...he also found a coffee shop where the coffee was $30Aud and a 300g block of chocolate was $20Aud...
At the track where the ladies were doing their Tai Chi, I think Ethan should stick to running...

Apartments on the side of the track...

The view from our hotel window...

These were in Guangzhou I think that they are toffee coated fruit

Mini toffee apples.

This guy was shucking oysters in the street

Done and ready to eat.

Back in Guangzhou and this was a deserted street first thing in the morning.

Roasted chestnuts and sunflower seeds

These are the sweet puff things that we like.

Had to put this up again cause Ethan told me that the dinosaurs are made out of coat hangers...if you click on the photo it should enlarge it...
New jeans and top..
Strawberries done with the toffee coating...

They love carnation milk...

A quiet day today.

We have had a bit of a easy day today, Ethan and Greg went to the running track (might go with him on Wednesday cause he said I would be the fastest old person there) early, Dan & I stayed and had breakfast then took the 2 massive bags of washing over to the laundry....we came back and the other two were having their breakfast....wanted to go to Sephora but after a quick Google to find the location we found that it has closed in Hong Kong, there was one in China but the prices were more expensive than at home...decided that I needed to go to H&M so we headed off to there, Greg left us as he wanted to book a massage but we went the wrong way and ended up down the other end of the harbour....well we took the scenic route....While I was shopping in H&M Greg & Ethan headed to the sports store and Ethan picked up a pair of new spikes...but there was a bit of excitement on the way down there not sure which of the boys saw it first but there was a construction site with the timber boards all around it and they said that looks like it is on fire and sure enough it was...though today I had done the 10,000 steps by about 1.00pm...off to the markets tonight....
Breakfast this morning

The coffee was good this morning though they are not sure if it's because they are used to terrible now.

The view from the room...

We stopped and waited in line for these little crunchy yummies...they were good.

See the flames out the top and no one is even looking at it.

It's a Tesla electric car. Have tried to find a price on it and have come up with one that is around the $1,000,000 HK to get our cost dived it by 6....

Crabs waiting to be dinner...

Down where the Star Ferry is.

Christian Louboutin I did go in and the ones on sale were over $1000 Aud

Back in Hong Kong

Back to Hong Kong for some serious fun, Disneyland is on the agenda and I'm not sure what else...we caught the train back, it's so strange when you get to the station you have to line up behind doors that have your train number on them, at a certain time they open those doors and you can go trough to immigration but not when you want to when they want you to....then after going through that you have to wait until they let you go down to the train, now if they don't get you processed in time it's too bad for you and you miss that train....the train either shuts it's doors early and starts going and then the station guy blows the whistle....we had to catch two taxi's to get to the hotel cause we all couldn't fit with the bags in one....have been up to both the Ladies Market and Temple Street Market to get some jeans and a top. But the best news is we found a laundry, Oh I forgot to tell you in Guangzhou they had washing machines for $40 AUD brand new, we could have brought one of those done the washing and then donated it....I also brought a bangle today at the jade market it looks like it's made out of a sprite bottle or a green beer bottle, but it's suppose to be volcanic emerald glass...I love it and only one lady had this stuff at the market so it's either real or sprite bottles melted down...
This mornings view out of the boys room...

Salted eggs

This guy was jogging around the roof of the building.

The kids came out and did their exercise routine...all in line of course.

On the way to the jade market.

Natural Amber, these were so expensive.

The one on the left was $90,000 Yuan $18,000 Aud

Even the small pieces were expensive.

My sprite bottle bangle

It's on to stay as well...

Don't know what all of these things are but they smelt fabulous...

Apartments are everywhere....huge ones..

In the taxi only ladies and children can sit in the front.

Our train.

New hotel and the boys room.

We still have Christmas stuff around, the strangest thing is the Christmas carols are still playing.

Stainless steel sculpture in the foyer

Mammoth tusk it was $330,000 AUD they had two one was carved and it was more expensive.Would you get that through Customs, we looked at the page and it says you can't bring in tusks. not sure if it would make a difference in what sort of tusk it was...

A funky little resturant.

Public open space

Nathan Road.
